The demanding twin-campus, two continent WBA International Diploma Program will prepare graduates to advance their careers through practical application of brewing theory in real-world commercial brewing environments. The content will address issues in brewing from an international perspective, providing a depth of experience that is unavailable through any other institution.

The WBA Diploma Program is a 12-week program that can be completed all at once or in segments as your time and resources permit. The Diploma Program consists of 6 individual modules that offer instruction in brewing technical theory, business practice, problem solving, hands-on practical brewing & lab work, and behind-the-scenes tours of European breweries and brewing industry suppliers.

The Diploma Program starts off with in-depth study of brewing theory, which builds advanced-level knowledge of brewing practice and the sciences applicable to brewing. This theory segment is called the WBA Associate Program and, while it is a critical part of the overall Diploma Program, many students choose to take this 6-weeks of study on its own to build their skills in brewing theory. The Associate Program gives students a complete understanding of the technical issues in professional brewing. With content designed around the Diploma Exam syllabus from the U.K.-based Institute of Brewing and Distilling, our presentations address critical topics in brewing technology, giving students the knowledge they need to improve the products, processes and profits of their brewery.

The WBA Associate in Brewing Technology program consists theory instruction in:

Students can take any of these two-week modules as a separate unit, electing to complete the other units at a later date. Completion of all three modules will certify students as WBA Associates in Brewing Technology. The modules are offered at the Siebel Institute of Technology campus in Chicago.

After completion of all the Associate Program modules, students may elect to complete the World Brewing Academy International Diploma In Brewing Technology program by completing the following modules at the Siebel Institute in Chicago and Doemens Academy campus in Munich, Germany:

Upon completion of all six of the above modules, students will receive the World Brewing Academy International Diploma In Brewing Technology.
