The 6-week WBA Associate in Brewing Technology Program gives students a complete understanding of the technical issues in professional brewing. With content designed around the Diploma (AME) syllabus of the IGB, our presentations address critical topics in brewing technology, giving students the knowledge they need to improve the products, processes and profits of their brewery. The Associate program forms the brewing theory component of our WBA International Diploma in Brewing Technology Program.

The WBA Associate in Brewing Technology program consists of:

  • Raw Materials and Wort Production (Module 1, in Chicago)
  • Beer Production and Quality Control (Module 2, in Chicago)
  • Packaging & Process Technology (Module 3, in Chicago)

Students can take any of these two-week modules as a separate unit, electing to complete the other units at a later date.

Completion of all three modules will certify students as a WBA Associate in Brewing Technology.
